We have received notice from DigiCert that effective March 10, 2026, DigiCert will implement a comprehensive price increase for all its publicly trusted digital products. Racent will implement this price adjustment simultaneously. To help you plan ahead and prepare accordingly, we are issuing this formal notice to provide detailed information about DigiCert's price adjustment.

Price Adjustment Details​

Starting March 10, 2026, DigiCert will increase prices for all its publicly trusted digital products.

  • The average price increase is approximately 15%
  • The actual adjustment rate will vary depending on the specific product type

Background of the Price Adjustment​

This price adjustment is primarily driven by rapid changes in the digital trust industry, particularly the industry trend of continuously shortening certificate validity periods. To ensure the continued delivery of high-quality, stable and reliable services, DigiCert is increasing investment in its core capabilities, with key focuses including:

  1. Continuously expanding infrastructure scale DigiCert is expanding its enterprise-grade WebPKI infrastructure to 10 times its original scale, including:

    • Upgrading computing, storage and HSM capabilities
    • Strengthening critical systems such as CT, OCSP and CRL
    • Building a multi-CDN architecture to meet the rapid growth in certificate issuance and validation demand without compromising system performance, security and availability.

  2. Built-in automation capabilities for TLS subscriptions All TLS subscriptions include end-to-end automation capabilities to help you and your customers:

    • Effectively manage digital certificates with shorter validity periods
    • Reduce manual operation costs
    • Lower the risk of service outages caused by certificate expiration

  3. Large-scale automated Domain Control Validation (DCV) CertCentral provides integrated integration with UltraDNS to automate DNS-01 validation, reducing manual handoffs between PKI and DNS teams, and is suitable for high-concurrency and short-lifecycle domain scenarios.

  4. Improving visibility of OV/EV validation processes By enhancing the visibility of Organization Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) processes, customers can:

    • Quickly identify items requiring cooperation
    • Reduce orders stuck in validation
    • Minimize last-minute communications and urgent issuance requests close to the issuance deadline
