[Service Update] GlobalSign Root Certificate Migration Notice

Dear customers and partners,

Thank you for your continued support and trust in Racent. We are always committed to providing cost-effective cloud service products and cloud security solutions to help enterprises build a trusted network environment. To comply with the latest security policy requirements of browser vendors, GlobalSign will implement a TLS root certificate migration plan starting from July 8, 2025:

About root certificate migration

Migration background:

  • As Chrome and Mozilla browsers will stop trusting the old TLS root certificates, GlobalSign will gradually phase out the multi-purpose roots (R3/R5/R6) and switch to dedicated roots (R46/E46) Official link

Phased plan:

1.Starting from Q3 2025 (2025-07-08)

  • All newly issued DV/OV/EV certificates will be issued by the new CA
  • The CA changes corresponding to certificate types are as follows:

    • The full range of certificates will be migrated to the dedicated roots R46/E46
    • R3-R46/R5-E46 cross-certificates will be provided to ensure compatibility
