[Upgrade] Racent SSL Certificates Launch New Subscription Model with SSL Automation Solutions to Adapt to Shortened Validity Periods

Pursuant to the SC-081v3 ballot of the CA/Browser Forum, the maximum validity period of public SSL certificates will be gradually shortened to 47 days. The first phase of the shortening will take effect on March 15, 2026, reducing the maximum validity period to 200 days (mainstream certificate vendors will implement a 199-day validity period; for details, see Announcements). If the traditional order management model remains in use, certificate renewal frequency will surge, significantly increasing operation and maintenance burdens.
In response to the above industry trends, to improve certificate O&M experience and ensure business continuity, Racent has fully upgraded its SSL certificate service to a subscription model. Under the subscription model, you can still choose subscription periods of 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or a longer 5-year period as needed. During the subscription period, the system will automatically reissue certificates multiple times until you receive coverage for the entire subscribed term.
At the same time, Racent provides SSL certificate automated O&M solutions: sslTrus CLM and sslTrus CaaS, which enable automated management of the SSL certificate lifecycle, improve management efficiency, reduce security risks, and effectively address shortened certificate validity periods.
