Certificate Reissuance Operation Guide (Domain Remains Unchanged)
This document describes the specific steps to reissue a certificate when the certificate enters the Pending Reissue status, with the domain name unchanged and only the certificate being reissued.
Steps
-
Log in to the Racent backend. On the left side of the page, under Popular Products and Services, click SSL Certificates to enter the SSL certificate management page.
-
In the statistics card area at the top of the page, click Pending Reissue to filter all certificate data pending reissue.
-
In the pending reissue certificate list, locate the certificate you need to work with, and click Details at the far right of that row to enter the certificate subscription details page.
-
On the subscription details page, click the Change Domain button.
NoteIf the domain does not need to be changed, and both the domain and CSR are unchanged, you can simply reuse them. This entry is only used to initiate certificate reissue.
-
After confirming that the domain information remains unchanged and the validation status is normal, click Submit in the lower-left corner to initiate certificate reissue.
Additional Notes
- If the domain validation is still within its validity period, there is no need to repeat the DNS resolution. If the domain validation has expired, you need to complete the domain validation again according to the resolution records displayed in the backend.
- For OV/EV enterprise certificate reissues, if the validation is still within its validity period, the certificate will be issued directly. If it remains in a pending review state, you need to contact the corresponding business or issuance personnel to assist with validation.
- If the domain and CSR remain unchanged, simply reuse them.
- After submission, the system will initiate the reissuance process. Once issuance is complete, you can download the new certificate for deployment.
If the domain name or organization name changes during reissue, please first refer to the change rules: Can the domain name be changed when reissuing an SSL certificate within its validity period
